    We are seeking a FULL-TIME DISHWASHER to join our North Kitchen team!

    WE ARE ACTIVELY TAKING EVERY MEASURE TO PROTECT OUR RESIDENTS AND EMPLOYEES DURING THE COVID-19 SITUATION INCLUDING: DISTRIBUTION OF PPE, TEMPERATURE SCREENINGS UPON ARRIVAL TO WORK, SANITIZING STATIONS AND PERIODIC COVID TESTING REQUIRED ONSITE PROVIDED BY OUR DEDICATED INFECTION CONTROL TEAM

    No experience required - we will train the right candidate!

    • This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods. This position also ensures the dish-washing area is maintained as a clean, safe and sanitary facility
    • Walks and stands during entire shift
    • Lift and carry racks or stacks of dishes, glassware and other utensils, weighing up to 30 lbs., many times per shift
    • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing and lifting
    • Frequent washing of hands
    • Must be able to read labels on chemicals

  • Qualifications

    Master’s Degree in Counseling, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Limited Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC) in Michigan. Experience as a counselor in an academic setting. Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations, representing a wide range of abilities, ages, nationalities, cultures, and socio-economic statuses. Willingness to work a varied schedule. Commitment to student success and the comprehensive community college concept. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to access and use electronic resources including email, the Internet, and the college’s integrated database record keeping system.

    Responsible for instruction and facilitating student learning; committed to student recruitment, retention and success; assessment of learning, development of curriculum and use of instructional delivery modes utilizing both traditional and non-traditional methodology.

    1. Establish and promote an effective learning environment that maximize documented student learning.
    2. Prepare, submit and maintain reports related to student learning.
    3. Provide educational assistance to students during regularly scheduled and posted times (i.e., office hours) or by appointment.
    4. Maintain levels of professional knowledge and expertise.
    5. Perform other duties as assigned..
