    Job Description

    MuteSix is seeking a Content Editor for the Internal Marketing team to create graphics and edit videos for MuteSix branded content including, but not limited to, social media graphics and videos, blog and press graphics and client testimonial videos. The successful candidate will be a creative problem solver with a passion for social media, online advertising, graphic design and video editing. 

     

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Collaborate with Digital Marketing Manager to edit timely videos, graphics, gifs and infographics to be shared on various social media platforms, including, but not limited to, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook and Instagram.

    • Create video and graphic content that will perform well on individual platforms based on a deep understanding of the different styles of creative that succeed on each platform. 

    • Create high-quality content with quick turnarounds.

    • Test iterations of videos and graphics on social media platforms and analyze results alongside Digital Marketing Manager to increase performance.

    • Research digital ad trends and use that information to inform creative decisions. 

    • Collaborate and communicate effectively with the team on multiple creative projects at a time.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of experience in digital media content creation

    • 3+ years of experience designing in Photoshop and editing in Adobe Creative Suite; specifically editing in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects

    • Advertising and/or marketing experience

    • Excellent time management and communication skills

    • Ability to be flexible and pivot direction when needed

    • Team-player mentality, can-do, positive attitude, and a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done

    • Proficiency in Google and project management tools

    • Must be comfortable experimenting with design elements, taking the reigns creatively, and utilizing all software to your advantage to create content that is energetic, punchy and matches the MuteSix brand voice

    • Ability to master brand voice and thoroughly understand brand parameters

    • Must be comfortable executing a project with some ambiguity

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or relevant field.
