    Kids Club Evening Supervisor

    Position Summary

    The following provides a detailed description for the position for Kid’s Place Supervisor. Actual duties performed may vary slightly. The Kids Place Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operation of the Kids Place and all Kids Place Associates on his/her shift.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    Responsible for ensuring the Kids place is staffed appropriately.

    Provide coverage for shifts when needed.

    Oversees the daily operation of the Kids Place room.

    Make sure employees are properly supervising/interacting with each child in a positive & age range manner.

    Maintain a safe and healthy environment.

    Inspect toys, swings, bounces and inform the manager concerning damaged toys or equipment.

    Inform new parents of all policies and procedures.

    Train all Kids Place staff & ensure that all staff meets minimum standards and requirements.

    Make sure that all child check in/out procedures are being followed & that each child has a Registration Card on file.

    Ensure employees are not using their cell phone while in kids place.

    To ensure the toys are properly cleaned on a daily basis.

    Responsible for updating all staff on any policy changes.

    Enforces the dress code policy.

    Communicates on a regular basis with kids place manager.

    Inform manager when supplies are needed.

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    Excellent communication and customer service skills

    Must have a positive attitude and be able to motivate staff in a positive manner

    Possess strong leadership abilities

    Ability to handle challenging customer service issues with patience, tact, sensitivity & professionalism

    Must have high level of professionalism, must be honest, have integrity & a great work ethic

    Willingness to work flexible hours when needed

    Required Experience, Education and Certifications

    Minimum of 1 year prior experience in a daycare/childcare environment

    Infant and Child First Aid/CPR Certification required

    High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

    Physical Demands

    Position duties require daily standing, walking, sitting, lifting, bending, squatting and reaching.

    Required Hours:

    Part time (25-29 hours per week):

    Monday - Friday 4-8 pm

    Saturday's 8-1 pm (one Saturday off per month)
