    Work at a Startup as a Physical Therapist!

    Muvr (getmuvr.com) is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist to help us deliver premium care for orthopedic patients. Muvr is a seed-stage healthcare startup developing wearable devices to transform orthopedics with precision motion tracking and big data. We're backed by venture capital, and Muvr's alma maters include Stanford Biodesign, StartX, and YC Fellowship. In this role, you would be in charge of managing outpatient orthopedic care in the San Francisco Bay Area utilizing Muvr's state-of-the-art technology platform.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead patient onboarding - ensure patients are set up with Muvr, understand how to use the app and wearables, and can follow rehabilitation exercise protocols
    • Perform in-home physical therapy evaluations/treatments at the patient's home under the oversight of an orthopedic surgeon
    • Capture patient feedback and relay insights to the engineering team
    • Telerehab through one-on-one remote patient coaching via phone, video, and through the app
    • Provide documentation on patient progress reports and communicate findings to the surgical team

    Requirements

    • Licensed MSPT or DPT with current California certification
    • Experience with orthopedic joint replacement rehab, specifically total and partial knee replacements 
    • Ability to create customized exercise programs based on patients' unique needs and goals 
    • Exceptional communication and customer service skills 
    • Proficiency with computers and iPhone/iPad 
    • Must own a car, provide proof of car insurance and willing to travel throughout San Francisco Bay Area to work with patients 
    • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while finding creative solutions to challenging problems

    Preferred

    • 2+ years experience working as a physical therapist in a hospital or clinic
    • Experience working with patients undergoing a variety of surgical knee procedures beyond knee replacements, including ACL/MCL/PCL and meniscus
