Preventative Maintenance Weekend Crew MVC 23 reviews - Nicholasville, KY $16 - $20 an hour McKechnie Vehicle Components, a Tier I and Tier II supplier of painted, assembled and chrome plated automotive components, located in Nicholasville, Kentucky is seeking Weekend Preventative Maintenance Technicians. Pay will range from $16.00 to $20.00 per hour depending on experience. You will be required to work 36 hours on the weekend but will receive pay for 40 hours per week. Primary job responsibilities include: * Plating and Molding maintenance experience preferred. * Repairs and maintains molding presses, paint line, and/or plating equipment. * Grease fittings. * Replace parts that need to be replaced. * Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment. Hydraulic and pneumatic experience preferred. * Inspects and tests machinery and equipment * Mathematical knowledge * Ability to monitor and read gauges

• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical * Ability to lift 100lbs, bend, stoop, read, see, hear, climb, reach, grasp with hands and fingers, etc. * Work independently with minimal supervision * Complete preventative maintenance on molding presses, paint line, and/or plating equipment. * Complete daily log of maintenance issues. * Applicant must be organized and able to keep a clean and safe workplace at all times. Qualifications include the minimum of a High School Diploma or GED and 1-5 years experience as a maintenance technicia. The successful candidate will present a progressive work history with positive examples of initiative, progressive learning and professionalism. Other qualities necessary include strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to handle details and manage projects, and work well with all levels of the organization.
