My Gym is an amazing place because it allows you to work with children in a fun environment AND also be involved in the high-level processes of running a small business. Our core product is our amazing classes and parties; so, of course, your training begins within these areas.

As a lead teacher, you will be working hands-on, teaching “Mommy and Me” classes for babies/toddlers and their parents as well as physical education classes for preschool and grade school kids.

For over 30 years, My Gym Children’s Fitness Center has set the industry standard in the field of children’s fitness and physical activity. Right now, in more than 700 locations, My Gym teachers are helping children all over the world build a strong foundation for a lifelong love of physical fitness….and we want you to join the team!

We are looking for someone who brings a lot of energy, drive, and hustle to our team. The job is fast-paced; when you work with kids, you always have to be on our toes! When staff is off the floor, we want our My Gym teachers to apply their quick-thinking minds to the business end. By the time you finish training, you’ll know how to teach, administrate, and even sell a great class.

Requirements:

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older with high school diploma or equivalent

Availability to work 25+ hours/week including day, evening and weekend shifts.

Background in early childhood education or commensurate experience preferred

Background in physical activity (i.e., gymnastics, dance, sports, martial arts, general fitness).

Special consideration will be given to those that have work experience in an office setting or in sales.

Our training systems are second to none and will prepare you to lead a fun, high-energy class while teaching children important physical, cognitive, and emotional skills to build strong bodies and healthy minds.
