    Job Description:

We’ve got the perfect career for you! My Gym Children’s Fitness Center in Bel Air has an immediate opening for a high-energy, open-minded, organized Center Director that is passionate about children’s fitness and wellness. In addition to teaching, you will be responsible for helping meet monthly team goals in promotions and sales and provide excellent leadership to help create a positive experience for all staff and clients. The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of how to drive sales and nurture current client relationships to meet and exceed sales goals and maintain gains that are met month to month.

    Director Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Teach and assist amazing programs, train and oversee staff, perform daily administrative duties (Return all phone calls/emails, daily sales (or PSP) items, call/text and confirm trials for next day, call and reschedule all no-shows from the day, conduct necessary follow-up, check to ensure that all attendance has been taken and accounted for, prepare a powerful weekly meeting (based on My Gym Yearly Training Plan and meeting agenda template), cc processing, calling/emailing clients with declined cc for updated information, reviewing sales numbers with staff and work with them as needed, work with owner to arrive at goal number each month, update staff on monthly goal progress, share in advertising workload, create marketing plans for revenue generation, prepare and participate in Open House or Enrollment event planning; Maintaining My Gym’s reputation of safety and cleanliness by ensuring that all daily cleaning and maintenance tasks are completed as well as weekly deep cleaning responsibilities

    Position Requirements:

    Minimum education: Associates in business, education, or related field

    Must be available to work 36-40 hours per week

    At least 30 hours on the floor (classes, camps, PNO’s, birthday parties).

    6-10 admin hours (call-backs, lead generation, marketing, etc)

    3 weekday evening shifts and at least 1 weekend shift is required

    Must be available to participate in, and eventually lead team meeting on Fridays from 1-5 PM

    Highly energetic

    Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, strong work ethic, integrity and professionalism

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office products; ability to learn and master other platforms quickly.

    Minimum 2-3+ years of experience working with children

    Background in fitness (athletics, sports, dance, cheer, gymnastics, martial arts, or related field)

    Effective leadership and motivational skills

    Effective time management, ability to multi-task, self-starter

    Adept sales skills

    Drive for excellence and ability to lead by example

    Clean background check

    Compensation:

    Base wage starts at $17 per hour with a performance-based increase after 90 days.
