As a teacher, you’ll be working with children ranging from 6 weeks to 10 years of age, teaching programs that incorporate songs, dances, puppet shows, beginning gymnastics skills, sports, games, and a variety of other unique and exciting activities in a positive, noncompetitive, fun environment.

Job Description:
My Gym is currently hiring a children’s fitness coach/instructor. We’re seeking out someone who has a passion for fitness and play, really likes kids, and loves to be part of a tight-knit team that works closely with children and families. A job at My Gym goes beyond just teaching “Mommy and Me” programs, fun beginning gymnastics and Ninja Training obstacle courses; it is one where you build relationships and get to invest in the youth of our community! Ability to work up to 20-25 hours per week, including weekends, we have an immediate need for 15 hours per week with potential for growth with parties, Parents' Night Outs and camps
Ability to work weekday afternoon shifts (3:30-7:30), including at least one shift per weekend (could be morning or afternoon), and our Monday meeting/staff training (paid) 1:20 - 5:00.
Highly energetic

Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
Experience working with children
Background in fitness (athletics, sports, dance, cheer, gymnastics, martial arts, or related field)
Effective leadership and motivational skills
Effective time management
Willingness to clean (cleaning is a huge part of what we do - it's how we keep each other and our kids safe & healthy)

Compensation:
Starts at $16 per hour. Upon completion of training and becoming a shift lead, $17 per hour. Average trained staff member earns $16-$19 per hour. Plus tips and party pay ($25 per party in addition to hourly rate and tips) once fully trained.
Additionally, we offer:
