My Gym Children’s Fitness Center, a national franchise with 400 gyms worldwide. The Santa Rosa location is looking for energetic teachers. Do you love children? We offer programs for children ages 3 months through 9 years of age. Our programs incorporate beginning gymnastic skills, sports, games, movement, songs, dances and a variety of other unique and exciting activities in a positive, non-competitive and fun environment.

We look for enthusiastic, outgoing, and dedicated individuals with good communication skills and a genuine love of children. A background working with youngsters and/or experience in dance, gymnastics, drama, movement, sports, music, child psychology, kinesiology or early childhood development is definitely a plus!

Note: This is an active job that requires lots of physical energy for playing with kids, lifting them, moving equipment, etc. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Responsibilities:

Lead teachers, once trained, are responsible for teaching classes, birthday parties and drop off programs.

Administration, customer service and light cleaning duties are also a part of this position.

Weekly Monday afternoon staff meeting is required in addition to at least one weekend day.

Training is approximately a two month process. New employees are paid during this time. Due to the investment we make in our employees, we ask that you apply only if you see yourself working at My Gym for a minimum of one year.

We currently have one position available for a Full Time Lead Teacher.

This is a full-time position (30-35 hours per week) for a motivated individual seeking a career working with children

We are open Monday through Sunday

Business is closed for all major holidays

Full-time teachers are offered medical insurance through Kaiser

Hourly wage depends on experience
