The Santa Rosa location of My Gym Children's Center is looking for an energetic teacher for our programs with babies to 9 year olds. Part to Full-time (20-35 hours/week) depending on applicant availability.

We look for enthusiastic, outgoing, and dedicated individuals with good communication skills and a genuine love of children. A background working with youngsters and/or experience in dance, gymnastics, drama, movement, sports, music, child psychology, kinesiology or early childhood development is definitely a plus!

Note: This is an active job that requires lots of physical energy for playing with kids, lifting them, moving equipment, etc. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Responsibilities:

Lead teachers, once trained, are responsible for teaching classes, birthday parties and drop off programs.

Administration, customer service, marketing and light cleaning duties are also a part of this position.

Weekly Monday afternoon staff meeting is required in addition to at least one weekend day.

Training is approximately a two month process. New employees are paid during this time. Due to the investment we make in our employees, we ask that you apply only if you see yourself working at My Gym for a minimum of one year.

We currently have positions available for Lead Teachers - Full-Time or Part-Time depending on applicant.

This is a position for a motivated individual seeking a career working with children.

Hourly rate is competitive and depends on skills and experience.

Paid training is provided, however hours are somewhat limited until fully trained.

Part-time teachers typically work 20-25 hours per week, Full-time 30-35 hours per week.

Paid vacation time for part-time employees after 6 months
