Our CTO will enter a world of empowerment and technology. At MyYearLive we believe students should create their own yearbooks to record their memories of the school year. The MYL app allows all students to create cool yearbooks. We also have a marketplace and theatre in app. The CTO will have a major role in our movement. We will give you time and training to grow with the company. As our CTO your job would involve: working with React Native, Java, PHP, typescript, and firebase developing mobile apps for iOS and Android. Our hope is that this hire will move into a fulltime role. Qualifications - Have or working towards Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, - 1+ years experience in a production React Native environment - 1+ years experience in UI/UX development - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, connecting and collaborating with others - Passion for building great user experiences and an attention to detail - Familiarity with React workflows - Familiarity with firebase, typescript, PHP, and java Responsibilities - Taking on a central role in both the creation of new apps and in the ongoing maintenance and evolution of released apps - Shaping the mobile front and back-end architecture and institute best practices throughout the code base - Contributing to libraries and frameworks that will provide accuracy, consistency and benefit future development - Ensuring continuous high product quality through various methods including code reviews and writing automated tests - Lead our GA Tech Research and development team for desired deliverables Compensation $18 to $30 per hour We're not sending a man to the moon, but the transition of the school yearbook process to the student body is Epic.
