JOB SUMMARY
Provides assistant to all departments of the dealership.
GENERAL EXPECTATIONS
- Must be able to follow directions and ask questions when in doubt.
- Devote himself/herself to ensuring satisfaction to customers.
- Attend company meetings as required.
- Understand the terminology of the business and keep abreast of technology changes in products and services.
- Know and understand the federal, state and local requirements which govern the company’s business.
- Follow lawful directions from supervisors.

- Uphold the company’s non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements.
- Work evening, weekend and holiday work hours as required.
JOB-SPECIFIC EXPECTATIONS
- Wash motorcycles. Make sure they are cleaner than before they were left in the service department.
- Aid the Technicians with maintaining a clean, efficient work area, keeping the shop neat and organized.
- Be willing and able to understand and follow directions.
- Help service department employees to maintain a well-organized department offering exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Help to uncrate and set up new motorcycles.
- Be available to help technicians or other personnel when needed.
- Regularly check service department supplies and inform Service Manager when the stock is low.
- Be polite and friendly and greet customers promptly.
- Respond to requests for assistance cheerfully, courteously and quickly.
- Deliver motorcycles to customers.
- Assist with loading and unloading customer's motorcycles.
- Transport motorcycles to and from the warehouse in a safe manner.
- Organizing motorcycles at the warehouse.
- Assist technicians or other dealership personnel, when asked.
QUALIFICATIONS & JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Wear appropriate uniform each and every day.
- Professional personal appearance.
- Must possess valid driver's license with motorcycle endorsement.
- Must maintain a clean driving record.
- Demonstrated willing to work flexible hours.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
- Requires use of both hands.
- Requires to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, handle tools, and lift 40 lbs. of material.
- Occasionally requires the ability to balance and push motor vehicles up to 950 lbs.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Must be able to work indoors in air-conditioned areas as well as outside in the weather and elements.
- Frequently works near moving mechanical parts.
- Potential exposure to battery acid, gasoline, chemical cleaning materials or other toxic materials commonly found in motor vehicle service department.
- Occasionally, exposed to exhaust fumes or other airborne particles.
