We are currently seeking a motivated Prep Cook/Dishwasher to join our dynamic and professional culinary team. This position is 25 to 30 hours per week (with potential for more), and will focus mostly on prep work with occasional dishwashing duties. Wage is $11.25/hour.

The ideal prep cook candidate will:

Assist in preparation of all types of food items while following recipes

Work as a team player

Assist in cleaning the whole kitchen area, kitchen equipment, refrigerators, freezers, and storage area

Advise supervisor of kitchen equipment repair or replacement

Properly utilize, store, and label cooked food and food items

Check computer printout for menu amounts and recipes. Report any discrepancies to supervisor. Submit food usage report to supervisor.

Follow proper procedures to wash and return dishes and cookware to kitchen.

Any other related duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager.

Job Qualifications:

Prior experience in a reputable restaurant or hotel that is culinary and hospitality driven

Mystic Café is grounded in Lewiston, ID, history. Located in the 1926 Morgan Bros. Coffee Roasters building on Main Street, Mystic incorporates the original hardwood floors, beams, and bricks walls to create a distinctive and engaging dining atmosphere in our newly expanded space.
