Does the job titles “game oracle” and “crystal gazer” sound intriguing to you??!! Well MYSTIQUE ESCAPE ROOM will be opening its doors shortly and will be the premier entertainment spot of Lake Mary. We are now hiring for its upcoming grand opening.

MYSTIQUE ESCAPE ROOM is a physical adventure game in which players solve a series of puzzles and riddles using clues, hints, and strategy to complete the objectives at hand. At MYSTIQUE ESCAPE ROOM you can expect our high-end, professional rooms to immerse you into a story and setting that is truly out of this world.

Responsibilities:

• Providing MC services to groups
• Explaining how each escape room works
• Providing reminders and clues to the group as they play the game
• Mediating customer disputes as they arise
• Answering customer questions thoroughly
• Resetting rooms after completion
• Learning safety protocols and ensuring that guests are acting appropriately
• Opening and closing the store according to schedule
• Directing employees as needed
• Maintaining a clean work environment

Necessary Skills & Qualifications:

• Outgoing personality
• Excellent customer service and leadership skills
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to problem solve
• Experience working with a variety of personality types
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Flexible schedule (must be able to work at least two weekends a month)

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of prior escape room game master experience
• Bi-lingual
• Knowledge of Xola booking and use of POS devices

Job Type: Part-time (15-28 hours a week)

Salary: $11-13/hour commensurate with experience.
