Job Description

Position: The Coordinator will work full-time under the Mythical Society Producer, who oversees all aspects of the Society’s content, digital product (website and app surfaces), and product offerings/benefits.  Applicants should have extensive experience with all social media platforms and digital video; further experience with Memberful, Patreon, Discord, livestreamed video, and Wordpress publishing are a significant plus.  Candidates must also have moderate experience in photo and video editing using the Adobe Creative Suite, and a desire to learn more.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Copywriting for blog posts, emails, social posts, and paid advertisements.

• Posting / uploading photos, video, metadata, and comments, all with an eye for detail and quality assurance

• Assisting in the design/creation of graphics, thumbnails, and short video clips for membership and social platforms

• Maintaining content / activation calendars and trackers 

• Coordinating assets and release dates with members of other teams including production, marketing, merchandise, and brand

• Monitoring and moderating a Discord server and interacting with members of the Society subscription community, plus moderating chats during exclusive quarterly livestreams

• Monitoring social channels for sentiment and reacting to fan feedback.

• Reviewing video episodes for quality assurance

• Organizing and leading user-generated-content activations to build community and boost brand awareness

• Tracking KPIs weekly to develop analytics know-how

• Assisting members/customers via email, Discord, and in website comments

• Developing and maintaining a customer support / FAQ responses guide.

• Referring customer service concerns raised on Discord and social media to appropriate contacts.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 1 year of work experience in digital media

• Excellent writing skills and attention to detail

• 4-year college degree

• Required to work in-office in Los Angeles once deemed safe to return

• Fluency in GSuite and typical office software

• Some experience with Adobe CS

• All-consuming passion for Internet culture and fandom
