BACKGROUND ON THE COMPANY:

Mytonomy is an enterprise software and media company.  This internship is with our Film Studio. We produce broadcast quality medical education content that follows clinical guidelines and is peer-reviewed.  Our film studio has over 200+ SME's, clinician actors and patient actors plus an award-winning crew. 

When it comes to their health, people spend 99% of their time taking care of themselves, at home, and less than 1% of their time in a hospital or doctor's office. The problem is that the US healthcare system is not designed for this. No surprise, care is inconsistent, fragmented, and expensive.

Mytonomy is flipping the problem on its head. We empower our healthcare customers to give their patients what they need to manage their care, in the palm of their hands. We call this Asynchronous Virtual Care. And it's like Netflix meets Salesforce for Healthcare—with an advanced data model.

In short, Mytonomy adapts to each patient, across the entire patient journey, giving patients amazing instructional videos, tailored to their plan of care. Based on a patient's engagement the content, and survey questions adapt, delivering a highly tailored, satisfying and effective experience.  The branded video stream is delivered via Mytonomy's novel CRM platform that is easy for our customers to manage because it lives on top of existing healthcare CRM and integrates with the EMR, delivering exponentially better results. 

ROLE DESCRIPTION AND SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

Come join us this summer and go behind the scenes of a working film studio help be part of the team producing engaging educational content that can change the way we deliver healthcare.  As a summer Intern with Mytonomy, your responsibilities will include a variety of projects in the Creative and Content spaces and may include other activities. You'll help with call sheets, casting, microlearning education research, market research and learn how educational content used in hospitals across the country is put together.  We are looking for students with an interest in video production, health education, tech, research, or storytelling to join our team of professionals. Interns will have the opportunity to help produce our award-winning educational video content. Knowledge of  G-Suite and Zoom is required, and knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and experience with video production is a plus. The internship is paid at minimum wage.  Our main office is in Bethesda, MD, but these positions will be available to anyone working remotely.
