Job Description

N2 Imaging Systems, an industry leader in the design and manufacture of advanced infrared imaging components and systems, is looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team. We have an immediate position available for a Systems Test Engineer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work closely with Production and Engineering to ensure delivery of quality products to our customers.
• Develop, write and execute comprehensive test plans and procedures for product and system verification.
• Perform functional and performance acceptance testing on uncooled thermal imaging systems.
• Perform extreme environmental and reliability testing to military standards.
• Identify and clearly document issues for resolution.
• Develop testing automation equipment and methodologies and work with other engineering departments to verify the customers’ requirements are met.
• Work with the team to execute testing automation projects from conception to completion.

REQUIRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 4+ years’ experience in testing, automation or Q/A.
• Be an effective written and oral communicator.
• The successful candidate will exhibit strong writing and organizational ability.
• Must be comfortable working as a team to meet highly aggressive goals.
• Must be comfortable training or presenting to large groups including upper levels of management, ability to plan own work and prioritize tasks.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Aptitude for learning new technologies and concepts.
• Familiarity with test, integration, and validation techniques.
• Working knowledge of some or all of the following quality assurance methods: unit, integration, regression, and user interface testing.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience with uncooled LWIR imaging Cameras, Image intensifiers, night vision devices, electro optical systems, and/or military contract acceptance testing is desirable.
