OPERATIONS INTERN

N2 Imaging Systems, located in Irvine, CA, is a leading manufacturer of infrared imaging products for military and commercial applications. N2 is a dynamic place to work, with a cooperative, team-oriented workforce that is dedicated to winning new customers and growing our business.

DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: OPERATIONS INTERN

N2 is releasing new products and also has products in production. The Operations Intern will work in a factory situation (including cleanroom operations) timing operations and evaluating adherence to assembly instructions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with Continuous Improvement and Operations to assess and evaluate production and New Product Introduction operations, gathering actual operation times and correlating data for the creation of assembly instructions.

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS

• At least 3 years of university experience in an Engineering discipline, preferably Chemical Engineering.

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

• Analytical skills – ability to evaluate a situation and break it down into its requisite parts
• Excellent written and verbal communication and comfortable presenting data in a public speaking situation.
• Computer Skills: MS Office, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
