Part-time babysitter needed for 2 fun boys (ages 7 and 12) in Alameda - split schedule 25 hrs/wk. Ideal job for a college student Start: mid-to-late September. Looking for long-term commitment (through school year) with potential for extension Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:45am-9am and 2:30-6pm (afternoon varies with school schedule). Morning duties (1-2 hrs): School drop off daily & lunch prep for next day. Afternoon duties (3-4 hrs.): School pickup daily, prep & driving to activities, homework help for 2nd grader, homework oversight for 7th grader, plus play with boys until parents return from work. Other responsibilities: wash/fold kids laundry, light meal prep, light tidying, occasional errands / grocery shopping. Driving: Must have car and be comfortable driving kids around Alameda; we reimburse for gas monthly. Availability: Would like someone with flexibility to be with the kids for the full day if school is out (teacher workdays) or ends early (early release weekly on Wednesdays at 12:10pm); parents will provide a list of dates in advance.
