SUMMARY
MARKETING COORDINATOR – Responsible for the creation and preparation of the firms marketing materials in support of business development initiatives. Responsible to produce a consistent quality of written and graphic content in all marketing proposals, SOQs, and presentations: and indirect marketing including but not limited to social media, public relations, market research, networking, and special event planning. This includes collaborating with other marketing professionals and working in tandem with the principals and other technical professionals to deliver business development results for the firm.
Marketing Coordinators exhibit the firm’s core values as well as perform all duties with a high degree of professionalism. They independently perform most assignments based on specification of desired results with oversight from their Marketing Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Partner with firm leaders to coordinate, generate, organize, develop, assemble, and complete marketing materials to support business development efforts including SOQs, RFQ’s, RFP's, presentations, project case studies, resumes and related content
· Participate in proposal strategy kick-off meetings and translate strategic ideas into proposal content proposals. Collect, develop, write, edit, and maintain, project case study data, images, and materials
· Proofread and edit all marketing content, including graphic layout, written content accuracy and adherence to graphic standards to present a consistent appearance of style
· Coordinate all activities in the preparation of marketing responses and materials including kick-off, status meetings, team assignments, schedule, and review and editing
· Coordinate the timely production of materials including copying, binding, distribution, delivery, and follow proposal close-out process
· Plan and organize marketing meetings, and initiate activities for the annual marketing calendar, including speaking engagements, conferences, and business events
· Collaborate with marketing team to strategize on marketing initiatives, knowledge sharing/best practices and development of key messages
· Coordinate and prepare interview presentation materials as needed Maintain resumes, project descriptions, proposal boilerplate and other marketing resources in the firm’s Marketing Information Resource Library (MIRL) database
· Upload and assign key descriptors to photography in Open Asset
· Maintenance and management of mailing list
· Help Principals and other technical professionals maintain their contacts in the CRM database
· Follow file management best practices for easy retrieval of data and documents
· Ensure brand consistency in all print and digital marketing materials
· Create effective marketing collateral to build NAC’s brand and support sales efforts
· Provide graphic support to HR (i.e., new employee announcements, benefits brochure, firm culture, and presentations for Finance and IT as requested
· Prepare and submit award submittals
· Prepare and/or distribute press releases
· Maintain media list
· Solicit annual editorial calendars
· Prepare and post social media content
· Coordinate internal and external special events
· Support marketing efforts in regional offices as requested
· Perform market research to build client, project, and competitor intelligence
· Research and document school bond initiatives and results
· Manage inventory of marketing materials and logo gear
· Coordinate trade shows/exhibits including registration, booth design, and collateral materials
· Seek efficiencies and constant process improvements in all areas of marketing operations

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
· Member of SMPS preferred
WORK ENVIRONMENT
· This position operates in a professional open office environment with low to moderate noise levels including collaborative work areas for team meetings. Each office provides collaborative work areas and shared resources such as video conferencing, printing/scanning and a café for dining.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· Hand/Wrist/Finger dexterity for 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week
· Ability to lift a set of construction documents
· Ability to sit for long periods of time
POSITION TYPE/HOURS EXPECTED TO WORK
· This is a full-time position with a minimum expectation of 40 hours per week
TRAVEL
· Occasional local travel -- less than 10%
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field preferred
· A minimum of two years of experience in maintaining internal marketing proposal systems in desired role
