    Job Description

    NANO LLC is a full-service architecture and interior design firm located in Mid City, New Orleans looking for a Accounting Clerk/Project Assistant.

    This position reports directly to the CFO

    JOB DUTIES

    • Monthly invoices, Accounts Receivable, Client billing
    • Monthly job cost audits
    • Monthly client progress billing & project cost reconciliation
    • Reconcile and post subcontractor and vendor invoices
    • Coordinate with Project Managers for billing
    • Review and address outstanding Accounts Receivable Accounts
    • Follow up with clients regarding outstanding past due invoices
    • Assist in project scheduling and communications
    • Assist in gathering information for various agency audits
    • Assists CFO with special projects
    • General office duties (filing, answering phone, email, etc.)

    SKILLS

    • Must be extremely organized
    • Attention to detail
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Basic understanding of job costing and progress billing
    • Intermediate level of MS Excel - Ability to manipulate worksheets, formulas, and data sort
    • Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word and Outlook)
    • Familiarization with QuickBooks, BQE Core preferred
    • Export reports from accounting system to be manipulated for client support
    • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including Ownership and Supervisors, as well as with clients, vendors, and subconsultants
    • Ability to work in high pressure and deadline driven environment

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred
    • 5 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role preferred
    • Basic IT experience preferred
    • Must have experience in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction Industries
