    LED Sign Service Department Manager

    Summary

    This person is responsible for safely and professionally configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing LED signs on-site at customer locations and in a shop environment. This position requires an individual who can demonstrate sound technical, computer, and communication skills and troubleshooting methods.

    Responsibilities

    Follow procedures to document all work completed and equipment installed or repaired while onsite.

    Communicate with the customer ahead of time to confirm appointment details.

    Verify that the installation crew is prepared with the correct parts, technical details, and tools before arrival on the jobsite.

    Troubleshoot and repair electrical and network setup of sign equipment during and after installation.

    Safely work on/in Arial buckets, lifts, or ladders at heights over ten feet.

    Provide customer training.

    Interpret product and project drawings, technical details, and specifications.

    Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb in and around tightly configured spaces on jobsites.

    Consistently lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

    Safely travel to jobsite using a company-provided vehicle.

    Qualifications/Skills:

    Can effectively read, write, and type in English.

    Comprehend written, visual, and verbal instructions.

    Ability to present information in small group situations.

    Identify critical troubleshooting details to minimize repair times.

    Ability to communicate with customers and contractors professionally and effectively.

    Working knowledge of Windows OS, computer networking, smartphones/tablets.

    Ability to troubleshoot AC and DC electrical circuits

    Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Outlook).

    Must hold a clean and valid State Driver’s License.

    Must have or be willing to obtain your tools.

    Training will be provided to a qualified candidate.
