Job Summary
The Intern, Prevention supports NASTAD’s capacity to provide technical assistance and capacity building assistance to health departments’ implementation of High Impact HIV prevention programs. The position will be responsible for coordinating key aspects of NASTAD’s comprehensive HIV prevention survey, the National HIV Prevention Inventory (NHPI). Responsibilities will include programming the online version of the survey, following up with health department staff about survey completion and accuracy, and assisting with survey data analysis and/or write-up.

Essential Duties

• Support survey programming and piloting the online version of the NHPI survey tool
• Monitoring survey submissions from health departments for accuracy and following up with health department staff as necessary to ensure survey completion
• Interact with, and respond in a timely manner to, the needs of health department staff members on questions related to the survey
• Assist with final data cleaning and analysis
• Attend staff meetings, team meetings, and training, as appropriate
• Perform other duties as assigned
