    Job Description

    NBC Sports Boston is seeking an intern who will work side by side with our content producers across our different platforms (social, digital, linear, audio). This position is perfect for students studying broadcast journalism or production with an interest in working in sports. Interns will have the opportunity to work directly with NBC Sports Boston producers, production teams, and talent.

    Responsibilities:

    • Being an active participant in content creation
    • Shooting and editing video
    • Designing graphics
    • Social media content execution
    • Motion graphics creation
    • Assisting with research
    • Archiving and logging feeds
    • Writing copy
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop)
    • Ability to use video and/or still camera
    • Applicants should provide a reel of relevant work in areas including any of the following: shooting video, video editing, graphic design, motion graphics creation

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Previous internship experience or on-campus involvement
    • Ability to work effectively in a high-intensity environment, often under tight deadline pressures
    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
    • in-depth understanding of using social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok

    Eligibility:

    • In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution for the duration of the internship program and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress
    • Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits)
    • Must be 18 years of age or older
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal
    • Must be able to work on-site in Needham, MA

    Internships at NBCUniversal are paid and do not require course credit.
