    ABOUT US:

    NBCUniversal is a leader in providing entertainment programming to the US and international marketplaces. The International Television Distribution division is responsible for the international distribution of NBCUniversal product to all forms of linear and digital media. This includes distribution of current and library theatrical movies, direct-to-video movies, documentaries and specials, plus all forms of television product – scripted TV series, non-scripted TV series, mini-series, animation and TV movies.

    OVERVIEW:

    The Senior Financial Analyst of Global Television Distribution is responsible for Financial, Planning & Analysis of NBC Universal’s filmed entertainment and television product distributed in the Linear Free and Basic, Premium Pay, Subscription-VOD, Ad based-VOD and Transactional markets. In this role, the SFA will support the development and analysis of revenue budgets and forecasts. This position will be responsible for working collaboratively with the Sales team, Sales Administration, Television Planning Groups, and Information Technology.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage Sales and Revenue planning activities for the division, working directly with the Sales organization.
    • Create and maintain deep deal analysis/financial models for Local and JV deals.
    • Analyze financial results against prior plan/forecasts including providing detailed by-title variance analysis and summarizing financial results.
    • Understand licensing and distribution agreements and assessing the financial impact of deals.
    • Oversee development and update of Television ultimates and greenlights, including presenting findings to senior management and stakeholders.
    • Participate in close process, including tracking and review of revenue recognition.
    • Performs ad-hoc financial analyses to support senior management decisions and initiatives.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in performing quantitative analysis, forecasting, and/or financial modeling.

    THIS POSITION HAS BEEN DESIGNATED AS HYBRID, GENERALLY CONTRIBUTING FROM THE OFFICE A MINIMUM OF THREE DAYS PER WEEK.
