Job Description
The Entertainment Marketing team in our TV & Streaming Group is looking for a Vice President, Editorial & Digital Content Strategy to oversee its digital content marketing efforts across brands including Bravo, NBC, Oxygen, SYFY and USA Network.
This role will be responsible for driving audience and revenue based KPIs (total visits, time spent, video conversion, loyalty sign-ups, revenue) and will work across the business with stakeholders from Product, Tech, Audience Growth, Brand Marketing and Sales to hit clearly defined goals. The ideal candidate will come from a background steeped in data-driven content creation and have experience infusing a culture of rigorous data analysis and A/B testing into an established content team.
You’ll offer a mixture of strategic thinking and operational rigor and be just as comfortable developing a one year content plan as you are leveraging performance metrics to make daily decisions. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Digital Content Strategy you’ll oversee a team of writers, editors and content specialists and work closely with them to refine the voice and vision of our editorial content.
Alongside deep experience of activating audience segments through targeted content, you’ll have a background in building rich, multi-platform fan-first editorial that is designed to convert users to specific business outcomes. You’ll also understand the nuances of different platforms in the digital space and understand the role they play in a user’s journey.
We’re looking for somebody who has the skills to navigate a complex, matrixed organization without becoming mired in quicksand – an operator who has the drive to transform a vision into concrete execution. You’ll be an excellent relationship builder and somebody who can collaborate across brands, functions and business units.
You’ll also have the ability to clearly and concisely communicate your vision and results to senior management, while facilitating ongoing, transparent communication with the wider team.
