    Job Description

    The Marketing Coordinator position is responsible for working with key NBCUniversal Sports stakeholders to market and increase sales of NBC Sports properties. Reporting to a Marketing Director, the Coordinator will work on linear, digital and social platforms for a variety of properties including Premier League in English and Spanish language, Chivas de Guadalajara in Spanish language, and HBCU football. Furthermore, the Coordinator will be tasked with cross-platform collaboration, specifically working with counterparts in the Entertainment verticals to compile marketing opportunities across the NBCU portfolio.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Pre-Sales Collateral and Materials: Work with Manager in creating, developing, and managing the portfolio of proactive and reactive sales materials for all properties by liaising with all appropriate internal groups (Creative Partnerships – Ad Sales Marketing, Programming, Production, Digital, Research, Pricing/Planning, etc.).
    • Production Communication: Manage & maintain weekly marketing production grids.
    • Project Management: Ensure accurate and efficient tracking of client marketing executions while maintaining an internal database of pitches and RFPs to identify key data and present it to leadership in a concise and coherent manner.
    • Post-Sale/Results Reporting: Manage the post-air process by providing clients with air checks of all executions, creating recap decks, etc. to showcase program results and work with the sales team to refine, maintain, and enhance client relationships.
    • Industry Insights: Collaborate and keep team informed of competitive market, insights into ad sales marketplace trends, landscape, and potential growth areas.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 1-2 years experience with an agency, sports, client, or media company sales organization background.
    • Bachelor’s Degree

    • Strong interpersonal skills – with ability to form strong relationships with production, sales, etc.
    • Excellent oral, written, presentation and budget management skills
    • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, other presentation platforms, etc.
    • Working knowledge of video editing software

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office minimum of three days per week.
