    Job Description

    Academic Year Internship Program:

    • Program Dates: September 18, 2023 –April 19, 2024
    • Time Commitment: 16-24 hours per week. Exact schedule to be determined based on business need. We will do our best to accommodate course schedules.

    The below opportunities listed offer an extended internship experience which will span the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 semesters. Working over winter break will not be required.

    Areas of placement include:

    Platform and Device Partnerships – this team sits within the broader NBCU Direct-to-Consumer group. Working directly with multiple stakeholders across the organization, we define and execute the distribution and partnership strategy for Peacock. Our group is focused on the establishment of new distribution opportunities, partnerships, and business development efforts in key audience growth areas and emerging market categories to drive Peacock growth - we are looking for an intern to help support these exciting initiatives.

    Qualifications

    Basic Requirements:

    • Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program.
    • Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal.
    • Must be willing to work in New York, NY.

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Students with class standing of junior or above preferred.
    • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
    • Comfort with basic data & data analysis
    • Prior experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
    • Prior experience with Slack, Outlook, and Teams
    • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program.

    The hourly rate for undergraduate student interns is $17.00.
