Apprentice Sound Editor, Audio Mastering Content Management
Job Description
The Apprentice Sound Editor will support the Scripted Episodic Television M&E Mastering workflow. This position would work directly with the Sound Editor for Scripted Television Audio Mastering. Other Audio Mastering workflows for Technical Operations Content Management would include but are not limited to Non-Theatrical Feature Delivery/Archiving, and Library Dubbing Element Research/Service. The Apprentice Sound Editor will be responsible for overseeing processes for the weekly creation of Music and Effects audio mixes (M&E) and working with various departments and editors to ensure a timely delivery of the M&E mixes. Understanding of Avid ProTools and postproduction workflows is required. The role will also require the use of internal ordering systems, researching available material, accurate data entry, rejection research and resolution. Additional responsibilities include tracking material delivery, organizing order details, gathering information through several systems, and close communication with internal and external vendors. Salary Range: $80-90K
