    Job Description

    OVERVIEW:

    The Global Creative Content team is responsible for producing bonus materials for feature films for Universal Pictures, Focus Features & Partner Titles, for television shows and for existing catalog properties. Our Assistant Manager will support our four-person team, with the help of our department coordinator, in all aspects of added value production, as well as managing the delivery of bonus assets for titles as directed.  In addition to being included on the physical and digital products, our materials are used to advertise and promote sales by our Publicity, Marketing, and Digital/Social Media Teams. Assistant Managers need to be impeccably detail-oriented and professional; have a thorough understanding of what production is all about, and are passionate, self-motivated individuals. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assist the team as directed, with the creation of unique and compelling added value content.
    • Manage the delivery of bonus content for titles as directed.
    • Create and maintain maps, production timelines, title files.
    • Manage all asset needs from OPS, Legal, other various internal departments, and source production assets from various production/studio sources - Storyboards, VFX progressions, scripts, still photography, etc.
    • Manage legal clearances.
    • Generate DA’s for bonus content tiles.
    • Facilitate Preview and Master Distribution/Asset Vaulting.
    • Manage social media asset creation and review by global creative, digital and brand marketing teams.
    • Review and approve menus/packaging in USHER
    • Manage Budgets/PO’s.
    • Manage New Vendor Set-Up by working with finance and new vendors to properly set up in the system.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree.
    • 4+ years in Home Ent. or Creative Content Environment.
    • Entertainment industry or Design Firm experience required.
    • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, Adobe Photoshop, QuickTime, Database Systems, Mac and PC and a proven ability to learn new systems.
    • Frame.io, Core by 5th Kind, ScheduAll, SOLAR, Daisy, USHER, USHE Purchase Order Request System, Concur, IMDBPro, MS Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop, Aspera, Filezillan experience.

    ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA.

    • Social Media experience preferred.
    • Familiarity with creative talent and Hollywood studios.
    • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
    • Diplomatic and able to interface with a myriad of diverse personalities.
    • Demonstrated ability to deliver on multiple assignments, meet tight deadlines, and be effective and decisive under pressure. 
    • Must be capable of working within a team environment with a positive approach to every task. 
    • Demonstrated ability to be flexible, think and respond quickly while maintaining attention to detail.
    • An interest and passion for movies and television shows.

    Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

    This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
