    Job Description

    This Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of the Pricing & Revenue Management department and performs detailed financial analyses of attendance trends and forecasts to make strategic recommendations for ticket pricing and product offerings. By providing high-quality insights, this Senior Financial Analyst supports both the short-term and long-term financial success for Universal Studios Hollywood.

    ** Responsibilities include:**

    • Weekly analysis of ticket pricing, products, sales channels, and promotions to provide explanations of revenue trends and forward pacing. This requires maintaining advanced Excel models and translating data into actionable insights.
    • Developing innovative pricing initiatives (e.g. volume-tiered, variable pricing) and evaluating their success (e.g. sensitivity, break-even, volume analysis) to drive revenue and margin growth.
    • Partnering with various teams (e.g. Marketing, Sales, Operations, IT) to execute key business initiatives
    • Supporting FP&A in the development of the Annual Budget, Five-Year Plan, and Quarterly Estimates for ticketing revenue
    • Supporting Halloween Horror Nights program via forecasting, ticketing product decision analysis, pricing, and capacity management.

    ** Qualifications/Requirements:**

    • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or related field
    • 3+ years of progressive experience within finance or analytics
    • Must be willing to work in the Universal City offices on a hybrid basis
    • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
    • Experience with Domo, Tableau, Microstrategy, R, Python, or VBA a plus

    Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
