Operations & Technology (O&T) is a shared services division of NBCUniversal that supports NBCUniversal’s portfolio of broadcast, cable and film businesses. With teams located in New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles, Denver, Atlanta and London, O&T provides a number of enterprise services including film and TV studio operations, post production, technical operations, engineering, facilities, real estate, security and EHS.
Role Summary
This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to lead the HR team and develop and drive the Talent Strategy for Universal Studio Operations, Global Real Estate and Enterprise Sustainability, part of NBCUniversal’s Operations & Technology division. Studio Operations is a 1400+ employee organization that encompasses a broad range of production, post-production, facilities and broadcast operations at Universal Studios, and other locations nationwide. Universal Studios is one of the largest full-service media facilities in the world with over 30 sound stages, broadcast studios and an array of backlot locations serving both internal and external clients in television, feature film, streaming and commercial production. Studio Operations maintains the infrastructure of the ~400 acre property including office space, roads, power and more. Almost a self-contained city, the property features a fire station, studio medical offices and multiple food venues serving more than 10,000 employees and production staff each day. This position requires an individual who can act as a senior consultant to the business, build and execute a strong integrated HR strategy, as well as manage and develop the unique talent within the organizations. This individual will work hand in hand with HR specialty teams to implement collective HR work. This leader must cultivate an inclusive culture where there is diversity of thought to drive innovative ideas and where team members can demonstrate their best abilities and deliver meaningful results.
As part of the HR leadership team, this role requires an experienced perspective based on business and organizational transformation, innovation, collaboration, agility, technical excellence, and the ability to successfully partner with and advise business leaders and functional HR leads. This position will report to the Global Head of Human Resources for Operations and Technology and will also report to the President & GM of NBCUniversal Studio Operations and Chief Real Estate Officer. This position is based out of the Universal Studios Lot in Universal City, California.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Labor Relations or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Minimum 10 years relevant HR experience including employee relations, organizational development, and/or labor relations
Minimum 4 years’ experience leading a human resources team
Minimum 2 years’ experience working with a represented workforce
