    Job Description

    Page Program Overview:
    The NBCUniversal Page Program is the premiere rotational program that gives early career talent a well-rounded experience along with unmatched exposure to the media industry. Pages are based out of New York, NY (the East Coast Page Program) and Universal City, CA (the West Coast Page Program. NBCU Pages get the opportunity to contribute to big, new ideas and trailblaze the future of our company and industry through 3 18-week robust assignment experiences and a job placement period.

    The Page Program is part of the broader NBCUniversal Early Careers team, who also supports the NBCU Internship Program. As a Specialist, you will support the daily operations of the West Coast Page Program and report into the Manager, West Coast Page Program & Early Career Recruiting Strategy.

    In this role, you will contribute to many aspects of the Page Program, from helping Pages start their year off successfully to ensuring they feel supported throughout their experience. You will play a pivotal roles in developing the future leaders of NBCU.

    Responsibilities:
    The Page Program operates 3 cycles per year, so most of the below responsibilities will happen with that same frequency.

    ** HR Support, Systems & Processes:**

    • Support lower-tier employee relations concerns of West Coast Pages, including escalating incidents when necessary and providing coaching to West Coast Pages
    • Execute all HR transactions in SAP to support the Page lifecycle, from onboarding through placement or termination
    • Support transition process for Pages post-Program including maintaining accurate records of Page conversions and exits
    • Manage distribution of technology assets, and maintain communications directly with IT to ensure updated records and redistribution of assets as needed

    ** Onboarding & Learning and Development:**

    • Using data and insights, create and design the two-week West Coast Page Program onboarding to ensure a successful start for all Pages, while also working nationally to include all NBCU Pages when applicable
    • Plan all logistics and develop content for regularly scheduled labs to support the learning and development of Pages, including the facilitation of labs

    ** Page Program Support & Community Building**

    • Main point of contact for West Coast Pages: leading cohort check-ins, maintaining 1:1 relationships with all Pages, sending and leading mid-point and final check-in surveys to Pages and partners, and strategically map out upcoming events and onboarding based on feedback and insights
    • Lead the Community & Culture Committee, ensuring events and community building remain a key integral part of the West Coast Page Program experience
    • Collaborate with the Page team/Early Careers team to continually enhance the Page experience

    ** Recruitment:**

    • Put on a recruiter hat to review and assess prospective candidates for consideration
    • Ensure a great candidate experience through timely communication with candidates, scheduling virtual panel interviews, and answering all questions that arise
    • Conduct offer calls and facilitate all new hire processes, including: generating offer letters, launching background checks, completing 1-9 verifications, and collecting any additional information as needed
    • Serve as a company ambassador at recruitment events, as needed, and regularly facilitate information sessions about the program

    ** Page Program Operations:**

    • Serve as main point of contact for internal partners - handling all requests for Pages to work special events within specific businesses and company-wide, leading ad-hoc requests for page program informational sessions, and maintaining all accurate records for billing, badging, and logistics of the program for West Coast Pages
    • Provide integral support to the Page Program Assignment Process, by hosting 1:1 conversations with Pages to understand how their needs and interests and understanding the needs of businesses and partners to understand placement of upcoming Pages
    • Serve as primary contact for Pages for TimeKeeper to ensure accurate facilitation of payroll
    • Serve as expert of and contact for all Page Program policies, including paid time off policy
    • Monthly billback for West Coast to ensure all Page hours are billed to the appropriate businesses, following up with finance teams and HR partners as needed
    • Oversee West Coast Page Program Admin Page to help with daily operations, event planning, and community building

    • At least 3 years of applicable work experience, likely thriving in an HR-related field with a knowledge of HR processes and applicant tracking systems

    ** Additional Information:**

    • This position has been designated as a hybrid opportunity, meaning that the position will report into the Universal City, CA location a minimum of three days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
    • This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
