    Job Description

    _ Role Purpose_

    Platform Operations is part of the Intellectual Property: Analytics, Operations & Technology organization (IP: AOT) within the NBCUniversal Legal Department. The IP: AOT team is responsible for developing technical solutions, providing operational copyright enforcement coverage, and analyzing piracy across various websites, marketplaces and social media platforms. Within IP: AOT, the Platform Operations team provides operational support, reporting, and insights across major social video platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, TikTok & X. The Platform Operations team is responsible for providing 24-hour coverage, demonstrating expert-level knowledge on platform operations and data, as well as working with platforms to help guide in the development of their rights management tools. The role will be responsible for contributing towards the copyright protection of NBCU content on social media platforms.

    _ Job Duties_

    • Assist in:
      • Responding to reports of piracy from stakeholders
      • Manual searching and actioning of content on major social media platforms
      • Reporting operational metrics
    • Manage queues and operational work within backend content recognition tools on social media platforms
    • Explore efficiencies and implement improvements to existing processes
    • Audit operations and ensure continuation of vital processes
    • Operate within a team to complete projects and minimize the spread of unauthorized content
    • Independently identify and complete projects that contribute to our team objectives
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    _ Basic Requirements_

    • Bachelor’s degree, or 4 years of equivalent experience
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience with content management, online video, or digital marketing on major platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitch and/or TikTok
    • Familiarity with automated content recognition tools used for copyright enforcement, including related terminology (e.g., asset, reference, match policy)

    _ Desired Characteristics_

    • Willingness and desire to work collaboratively in a team setting
    • Experience in social media analytics, content creation, and content management
    • Active interest in global media industry
    • Experience in communicating across teams and departments
    • Strong intrapersonal skills and ability to stay organized
    • YouTube/Google certifications are a plus

    _ Additional Requirements_

    • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
    • Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA
    • This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week
    • This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
