Job Description
The Post Prep Tech will perform a variety of operational and technical functions in support of longform prep and shortform QC for Tech Ops. These services will encompass quality control and Standards and Practices, media prep and content ingest, shortform QC delivery tasks, as well as administrative functions for the Tech Ops Post team
Qualifications
• 1+ year experience in post-production or knowledge of basic editing and QC screening
• Ability to read audio/video scopes
• Working knowledge of video/audio codecs, file formats, and resolutions
• Knowledgeable in all Microsoft Office applications
• Must be willing to work in Englewood Cliffs, NJ 3 days a week (hybrid schedule)
• Must have a flexible work schedule, including availability to work days, nights, and weekends, as well as work overtime and/or on holidays if need be
• Proven track record of strong attention to detail in previous roles.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently manage workload.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience working with Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop and IRIS
• Bilingual: Spanish/English
• Ability to prioritize work load and work under pressure
• Ability to train others
Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
