    Job Description

    Organize and prepare weekly schedules for Universal Studios Hollywood Team Members.  Partner with other departments and colleagues to ensure all scheduling requests are complete and met.

    • Create weekly department schedules utilizing the scheduling system, ensuring compliance with the union contracts and departmental procedures.
    • Partner with the Finance department and managers to ensure that the appropriate budgeted hours are allocated to staff the department sufficiently.
    • Adhere to, and report on, department variable labor budgets, including OT, meal penalties, variances and Team Member clocking activity.
    • Manage creation of new elements in the Scheduling system, including job/venue and charge codes
    • Assist management with all necessary administrative duties (including, but not limited to, database creation, answer questions regarding Team Member availability and schedule as it relates to potential discipline)
    • Update and audit employee records in the Scheduling system, including availability information
    • Review employee requests (Days Off/Vacation/Shift Changes) for schedule in partnership with management
    • Act as a liaison between the managers/supervisors and Team Members questions such as:  how to request a Leave of absence, how to resign, how to return, how to change availability, etc.
    • Coordinate with other departments to utilize dual-classified Team Members in the most efficient manner possible
    • Prepare reports as requested for review by Management
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Prior experience in scheduling large numbers of union employees. • Prior experience in scheduling in the Timekeeper system. • High school education required • Must be available to work on weekends, holidays and nights as required • Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint • Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment. • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or adhere to enhanced protocols in select work settings or where jurisdictionally mandated. • Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols. 

    Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.

Salary range: $44,720 - $45,760 Desired Characteristics • Must be able to adapt to new technologies and business trends. • Must have excellent written and verbal skills to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization • Must be proficient in Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. • Strong customer service, interpersonal and organizational skills • Must be able to maintain confidentiality relevant to employee information in partnering with Human Resources and management staff • Able to work well in a team environment as well as independently. • Need to be a quick thinker with the ability to make sound decisions • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills • Knowledge of union contracts • Proactive thinker/self-starter
