    Areas of placement include:

    • Peacock Content Strategy, Unscripted Originals – this intern will serve as an integral member of the Content Strategy team and will play a role in developing Peacock’s holistic slate strategy to maximize customer acquisition, retention, and usage. The Intern will work closely with stakeholders across NBCUniversal to align content strategy and execution to Peacock KPIs. This role would focus on Unscripted Originals, which touches iconic franchises such as Real Housewives, Below Deck, and The Traitors, as well as outlandish true crime stories like Casey Anthony: Where the Truth Lies and John Wayne Gacy: Devil in Disguise.

    Qualifications

    Basic Requirements:

    • Actively enrolled in an MBA program at a top institution, graduating in June 2024.
    • Strong financial acumen; ability to form judgments and actionable recommendations.
    • Advanced proficiency using Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
    • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a quantitative field.
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal.
    • Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA, Playa Vista, CA, or remotely.

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Students with class standing of junior or above preferred.
    • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
    • Experience in management consulting or investment banking, or a highly analytical role at a media and entertainment company (e.g., Content strategy, business development, corporate development, corporate strategy, corporate finance, consumer insights, business intelligence, marketing analytics).
    • Solid understanding of the streaming landscape, business models and audiences, including segmentation methodologies and application to business use cases.
    • Knowledge of Nielsen data and streaming data reporting systems such as Nielsen NPower, comScore and Adobe Analytics.
    • Advanced proficiency using Excel and PowerPoint
    • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a quantitative field

    The hourly rate for student interns is $17.00.

    The MBA rate for student interns is $35.00.
