    Job Description

    Looking for a bi-lingual (English & Mandarin), high-potential Business Undergraduate with a strong interest in working in the Theme Park industry. The specific role will be working with the sales team located at the theme park. One to two major projects will be assigned, often related to asset review, process improvement, and other competitive analyses and responsibilities. The internship length will be roughly 10 weeks, with the flexibility to adapt to the student schedule as needed. The intern program is intended to be a pipeline program into our full-time roles. The successful completion of this internship and hire recommendation by the immediate manager will position the candidate for immediate or upcoming full-time opportunities.

    Internship Scope:

    Make a meaningful contribution to the Business by successfully completing well-defined work projects:

    • Projects will be in line with department priorities and will enable demonstration of Sales capability and potential
    • Scope of projects often includes tactical work as well as analysis and review
    • Each project will have a tangible deliverable with presentations/reviews throughout the process
    • To successfully complete them, effectively working with internal partners will be required
    • Specific projects will likely be shared in advance of the internship starts

    Enable intern to experience the breadth of Sales career opportunities at a Theme Park business:

    • Provide broad exposure to all elements of USH from a sales perspective
    • Project work including Mandarin website oversite, providing recommendations, strategic and analytical work
    • Exposure to all other major elements of the business via 1:1 meetings, in-park experiences/FAMs, and client-related communications
    • Assigned Buddy and Mentor roles, including frequent open-door support throughout the experience

    Pay Range: $18-$25/hour

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    • Rising Senior with expected graduation in Summer 2024, Winter 2024, or Summer 2025
    • Fluent in both Mandarin and English
    • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing or a related field
    • GPA 3.4 or greater
    • Willingness to work overtime and/or on weekends with short notice (not anticipated but possible)
    • Must be willing to work in Universal City and to submit to a background investigation
    • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Desire to pursue a career in the Theme Park industry
    • Demonstrated leadership potential at work, school, community, or in other venues
    • Strong computer skills, including Excel and PowerPoint, ideally with prior exposure to accounting software (SAP)
    • Prior internship in Business
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills sufficient to influence others (verbal, written, presentations)
    • Resourceful problem solver who can prioritize and create approaches to meet required objectives
