Account Development Representative - NBC Sports Next
Job Description
As an Account Development Representative (ADR), you will be responsible for ensuring customer retention, increased product adoption and account expansion. This includes hunting for leads, mapping customer accounts, and building demand for SportsEngine’s full line of products and services. This position is ideal for individuals who are self-starters and results driven.
JOB DUTIES:
Engage and consult with sports administrators to help them identify meaningful ways to improve their organizations with SportsEngine software
Develop a deep understanding of the industry, sports administrators, our sales strategy, and leverage provided tech stack to execute high touch, high-quality activity cadence resulting in 80+ customer interactions daily
Understand the prospective customer or current customer, identifying opportunities and planning a creative and targeted approach for growth with accounts at every interaction
Create interest with customers directly via telephone and email learning about their challenges, position our products as solutions, and create new selling opportunities
Own your results. Unwavering personal daily effort standards so that coaching centers around goals, sales skills & career growth
Continue to gain advanced product and market knowledge to differentiate yourself and SportsEngine as both a technical and business fit
Collaborate with other departments and functions to support assigned territory and facilitate the overall success of the team
Maintain accurate daily record of sales activity using Salesforce.com and sales engagement / automation platforms such as Intercom or Outreach
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong written and telephone skills required
Well organized, with strong attention to detail
1+ years’ experience in sales, account management, and/or customer service
Strong work ethic to effectively manage your time to drive growth within your territory
Demonstrated multi-tasking abilities with consistent and timely follow-through all while achieving goals
Strive for honesty, transparency, and accurate communication - always over deliver
Ability to exercise independent judgment while taking great pride in your work
Empathetic, solutions-oriented and a true passion to serve customers
A self-starter who embraces change; a problem solver and team player
Help develop and deliver outreach strategies to create upselling opportunities
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Sales experience within software (SaaS) or web-based applications is preferred
Experience using salesforce.com or a similar CRM system is preferred
Strong knowledge of the sports landscape and sport specific to this role
