    Peacock is seeking a dynamic, and talented Compliance Analyst to join our Global Technology Delivery team. The role will manage the day to day delivery of our end-to-end internal controls for data compliance and the implementation of new controls in response to new governance/accounting standards or policies through to enablement and capability delivery. This role will partner with our business, product & developer workstreams to execute upon our data compliance initiatives enabling our data and process compliant culture.

    The Technology Delivery organization is responsible for…. creating a robust, centralized and connected data environment that unleashes the power of data. The platform gathers data across all customer/prospect journeys in near real-time, to allow fast feedback loops across territories; this platform is at the core of being able to make intelligent customer and business decisions.

    This position, based in NY, will report to the Director of Program Management, Data & Compliance, Technology Delivery on the Peacock side and will work on data compliance initiatives related to SOX and Peacock Enhanced Controls across Technology and Finance.

    • Initiate and facilitate the team’s delivery of new capabilities and business views while maintaining a culture of continuous improvement
    • Prepare and maintain project management artifacts (project charter, project plan, roadmaps, executive summaries, meeting notes and action items, new effort intake requirements) as needed
    • Monitor and control project governance for compliance (Track and report progress against planned activities; Monitor, mitigate and escalate risks and issues) as needed
    • Lead and partner across delivery workstreams to support stakeholder communications & project status
    • Partner with other Data Product and Delivery teams to ensure successful delivery within business expectations and requirements
    • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to gather complete customer requirements and ensure alignment between internal customer stakeholders and development teams both within and outside of the Peacock team.
    • Manage ambiguity when issues arise related to data compliance or process controls is required (Assemble, coordinate and direct a broad project team across multiple business functions to agree and deliver coherent and ‘fit-for-purpose’ solutions in a timely manner)
    • Collaborate with Business stakeholders, Data Product Owners, Architects, data engineers, scrum teams, end-to-end test and delivery teams to ensure forward progression of deliverables
    • Manage stakeholder day to day contact/escalation for SOX / data impacting changes that require end-to-end data compliance through the lifecycle
    • Own end-to-end delivery of SOX data product initiatives and releases
    • Take ownership of requirements from inception through to implementation.
    • Assist in managing SOX Backlog – Provide input into Release and Sprint Planning activities in accordance with stakeholder needs and delivery capabilities.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 3 years of direct experience in a previous data compliance related role, focusing on sensitive data handling practices, CCPA, SOX, SOC 2 audits and/or data privacy remediation projects.
    • Experience within an agile environment using Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
    • Solid understanding of data delivery and handling practices (data migration, management of data, data modelling, data governance, ELT, and reporting/analytics delivery)
    • Experience with working in partnership with project managers in Technology and Business Program Management to develop specific remediation plans w/ consistency, accountability, and ownership across vertical workstreams
    • Strong change management background
    • Ability to drive forward with sense of urgency and adapt with consistency
    • Ability to manage the internal controls of SOX efforts and prepare all information essential to the understanding and assessment of internal controls, including risks, control matrices, narrative descriptions and/or flowcharts of processes for all in scope technology systems
    • Ability to identify and communicate to the broader data product team observations and recommendations for the enhancement of processes and internal controls
    • Experience with coordinating with internal and external audits in support of testing, walkthroughs and process reviews
    • Ability to Work with Technical and Finance teams to consider the need for the design and implementation of new controls in response to new accounting standards or policies
    • Ability to diagnose process design gaps or transactional activities and consult with process owners to recommend solutions aligned with the business
    • Experience with working in an on-shore / off-shore working models.
    • Strong written and verbal communications, ability to tailor to all levels of an organization.
    • Proven ability to coordinate with team members across teams and locations.
    • Ability to develop effective presentations and educate at multiple levels of the organization
    • Experience performing research on policies and procedures regulations.
    • Experience identifying control deficiencies and communicating the deficiencies to management.
    • Working Knowledge of various system development lifecycle methodologies and IT general controls, financial risks / controls
    • Experience with tracking and reporting status of projects, including timelines, schedules, risks and resources
    • Ability to identify and anticipate risks and issues
    • Ability to facilitate the resolution of complex problems, by meeting with stakeholders, vendors, and technical staff to identify problems and potential solutions
    • Experience with Principles and practices of configuring and implementing data exchanges

    _ Desired Qualifications:_

    • Self-starter, able to consistently deliver without requiring significant oversight and direction.
    • Highly collaborative, able to build mutually beneficial relationships with delivery teams.
    • Proficiency with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002
    • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
    • An enthusiasm and aptitude for learning new skills and practices.
    • Have worked with tools like Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Sharepoint, BRIM etc is a plus.
    • Experience with working previously in Data Compliance, Media, or Finance domains is a plus.
    • Working knowledge of AWS / GCS data platforms, SAP systems, and/or BI technologies is a plus
    • Experience with Data handling practices related to: SOX, PCI, NIST CSF, COBIT, CIA / CISA, or certification is a plus.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting, or a related subject; or equivalent experience.
