    Job Description ROLE SUMMARY: Focus Features digital marketing is responsible for the digital promotion of both specialty and wide release theatrical films in the United States. The group creates, manages, and optimizes campaigns that utilize all methods of digital marketing and advertising, covering mobile and desktop websites, digital advertising creative, games, applications, custom video content, online publicity, and social media programs. In addition to our film campaigns, the maintenance, optimization, and operations of the FocusFeatures.com website is also under the umbrella of digital marketing. As part of the Focus Features Digital Marketing team, this role will be responsible for developing and executing the Focus Features Brand voice and identity. The role will work with internal and external resources in creating and producing advertising and promotional assets for the digital marketing of Focus Features. The Sr. Director, Brand Marketing for Focus Features unifies the creative positioning and approach to Focus Features’ library and theatrical release slate and throughout its lifecycle to ensure brand consistency and success. The Sr. Director of Brand Marketing collaborates and partners with the Marketing and Publicity teams, Strategy team, Executive Leadership, and across NBC Universal and Comcast to support theatrical and brand marketing plans and maximize the development of brand extensions. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop, ideate, and oversee execution of Focus Features digital brand creative, strategy and growth of all studio digital and social platforms, including: website, film microsites, editorial, online store, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
    • Manage external creative agencies and creation of social content and short form video.
    • Steer FocusFeatures.com editorial creative and strategy while managing freelance writing staff, and overseeing site operations and marketing activities such as e-mail, content management, & calendars.
    • Spearhead the technological and creative evolution of CRM/loyalty program and platform.
    • Execute brand partnerships and relationships through co-branded content and unique programming.
    • Oversee the creative execution of e-commerce partnerships and executions for the brand.
    • Work with Meta, Google, and key publishers in optimizing most effective methods of content distribution.
    • Work alongside film marketing teams to ensure consistent brand voice.
    • Partner across key business units, including Creative, Marketing and Publicity, Home Entertainment, Strategy, Promotions, and more to support a robust development of projects and oversee brand assurance, marketing amplification, and approvals by providing specialized IP expertise to support their objectives.
    • Develop presentations and reels to be utilized studio-wide and for potential partners.
    • Dynamic presentation skills required to represent studio across business units and third party pitch meetings.
    • Oversee creation and execution of Executive Presentations. Ability to develop a presentation narrative with a strong creative approach.
  • Qualifications

Desired Characteristics Desired Characteristics: • At least five (5) years of work experience in a content-focused entertainment organization, such as a film or television studio, television network, production company, or creative advertising agency, is highly preferred. • Exceptional creative thinking skills with a clear track record of generating compelling marketing ideas and strategies, leading successful brainstorming sessions, and managing a creative process. • Demonstrated ability to influence, challenge, and partner with senior executives and peers across a highly matrixed, fast-paced, innovative, and highly energetic corporate culture. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the demonstrated ability to deliver impactful presentations and pitches to senior business and marketing leaders. • Proven high proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint-creating narrative and Keynote skills is highly recommended. • Experience in producing static creative and audiovisual marketing content is a plus. • Skills in Adobe Creative Suite programs is a plus. • Ability to work under deadline pressures with minimal supervision and a willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to drive tasks to completion. • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and/or Communications is preferred.
