    Job Description

    Our Vudu team is seeking a Content Acquisitions Coordinator. Ideal candidates have an understanding and appreciation of the digital content licensing space, and the competitive market conditions. They must be extremely detail-oriented and interested in expanding their knowledge of the OTT entertainment industry by analyzing and aggregating complex data sets. In addition to:

    • Implementation, maintenance and analysis of content licenses secured on behalf of the Vudu OTT platform
    • Review title readiness and coordinate with the appropriate teams to insure excellent execution
    • Reports to the Vudu Sr. Director of Studio Relations

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Review and interpretation of an ever-growing base of 3rd-party content license terms
    • Assistance with onboarding coordination of new and renegotiated content licenses, and establishment of best practices for smooth execution and vendor satisfaction
    • Analysis of licensing terms and recommendation for on-platform execution
    • Ongoing development of Vudu consumer pricing strategy and optimization across licensors
    • Tracking of adherence to non-operational contract constraints and grants
    • Continuous assessment of core competitive platforms, pricing and positioning
    • Assistance in tracking and status of ongoing Vudu deal management
    • Ingestion and tracking of incoming commercial requests by prospective Vudu licensors
    • Monitoring and maintenance of Vudu content needs and consumer interests
    • Assistance in data-gathering and presentation of promotional post-mortems
    • Works closely with Vudu Studio Relations and Content Operations (COPS), with opportunity for development and advancement within the Fandango Commerce organization

    Basic Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree preferred
    • Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and possessing outstanding follow-through skills
    • Strong mathematical and spreadsheet skills
    • Familiarity and comfort aggregating and interpreting complex data sets
    • Innovative, creative thinker
    • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and be very flexible in a fast-paced, rapidly moving business.

    Desired Characteristics:

    • 1+ years of retail merchant and/or marketing experience, preferably e-commerce
    • Knowledge of and passion for premium content (film & TV)
    • Entertainment industry experience helpful but not necessary
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to develop consensus within diverse groups and drive results.

    Additional Requirements:

    • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
