    The NBCUniversal BOLD Vets Digital Operations Residency is a one-year , Digital Operations Specialist program focused on hiring Veteran candidates into our Digital Operations division within Business Operations & Services. Through this program individuals will gain hands-on experience, build relationships, and make an impact from day one. The program also offers ongoing training and development meant to prepare Veterans for full time staff positions within Ad Sales at the end of the program.

    In this residency individuals will have the opportunity to work as Digital Operations Specialists, primarily responsible for the gathering of all digital campaign media assets and executing all campaigns in the ad servers.

    Depending on assignment, residents will have the opportunity to work across our One Platform in Digital Sales supporting multiple departments such as Advertising Sales, Inventory, Strategic Planning, Commercial Operations, Finance and Billing. ****

    • Gathering of all digital campaign media assets
    • Ensuring media is delivered to published specifications and lead time
    • Processing of all first party hosted creative and the hand of all assets to our various internal sales ops team.
    • Direct interaction with Digital Media Advertising Sales Team and Clients to ensure campaign fulfilment
    • Trafficking all campaign elements in our DFP Premium and Freewheel ad servers.
    • Interact with sales marketing/site leaders to schedule campaigns for calendar-based sponsorships and events
    • Functional knowledge on trafficking campaigns in DFP Premium, FreeWheel, Operative.
    • Work closely with sales, inventory management, marketing and product development teams to review, resolve and respond to each inbound request.

    Qualifications

    • 4+ Military Years of Service
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet research
    • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of Ad Operations team
    • Ability to multitask and efficiently manage time and priorities
    • Experience handling large volume of emails and multiple ongoing campaigns
    • Must be organized and detail oriented with great attention to accuracy
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

    Eligibility Requirements:

    • Must be willing to work in New York, NY in a hybrid capacity; Tuesday - Thursday on-site, Monday/Friday remote

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Client Service experience a plus
    • Familiarity with a front-end order management system preferred
    • Fluency in the language of digital media: impressions, CTR, CPMs, eCPMs, etc. preferred
    • Fluency in the language of online measurement: uniques, pageviews, visits, referrers, etc. preferred
    • Basic knowledge of HTML and ActionScript preferred
    • Experience taking screenshots, cropping, and basic image editing

    Salary Range: $48,000 - $52,000
