    Job Description

    ** Role Summary**

    Responsibilities of the Digital Ad Sales Finance team is to support revenue across the Entertainment, Lifestyle, News, Sports, and Hispanic Sales as well as Strategic Partnerships (“Partners”).

    Ad Sales Finance supports all aspects of budgeting and reporting of Advertising Sales revenue. The Financial Analyst, Partnerships within Ad Sales Finance is responsible for the day-to-day revenue metrics, financial closes, and financial reporting of Digital Partner revenue and costs.

    In this role you will be a key part of Digital Partnerships team and an owner of financial information for partners including YouTube, Yahoo, Apple News, etc. This is an exciting time in the Digital Ad Sales space and this role has the opportunity to make an impact in this growing and ever-changing area of the company with exposure to senior leadership and cross functional teams.

    The role reports directly to the Director of Ad Sales Finance for Partnerships.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Partner with Sales and Strategy groups on analysis for key partners including YouTube, Apple News, etc.
    • Revenue models and financial analysis for all key partners with opportunity to streamline processes/ reporting and enhance efficiency.
    • Manage the Revenue Share payment processing and vendor set up for all Partnerships
    • Ownership of Financial Close process for Portfolio Products and Partners (Podcasts, TrueX, Kargo, Etc)
    • Source, consolidate, and organize all financial data for partnership revenue and cost reporting to support weekly reporting and pacing updates
    • Gain in depth knowledge of all Sales & Finance systems used for reporting (SAP, Operative, Hubble, etc)
    • Working cross-functionally on ad hoc, Sales related project work
    • Support Director and VP in reporting and ad hoc requests
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    ** Qualifications:**

    • BA/BS 4-year degree in business, accounting or finance
    • 1-2+ years of finance or accounting experience with a focus in media
    • Advanced Excel skills required
    • Prior experience in Fiscal Closes and Financial Planning & Analysis required
    • Strong Power Point skills a plus

    ** Desired Characteristics:**

    • Prior experience in a finance role supporting an ad sales function within a media or entertainment company highly desired
    • Demonstrated analytical strength and process mindset … ability to identify and resolve key issues quickly
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to listen, understand, and influence with various internal professionals and build strong working partnerships
    • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines with accuracy
    • Ability to build financial models and presentations for senior leadership
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Strong work ethic, positive attitude and demonstrated leadership qualities
    • High energy and ability to multi-task in a fast paced, high pressure environment

    ** Eligibility Requirements**

    • Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends
    • Must be willing to work in New York, NY
    • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
    • Must be 18 years or older

    Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

    This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
