    Job Description

    NBCUniversal is looking for a Head of Atlanta Operations in Studio Operations and Executive Management to join our team at Assembly Studios, Doraville, GA. In this role you will be responsible for setting up, managing, and controlling the day-to-day business, financials, and operations of a world class television and film studio. You will help drive the commercial success of the site and provide strategic production support to NBCUniversal (and respective content arms) to achieve content, revenue/profit, and general growth ambitions for the Georgia production facility. You will also oversee all site facility management which consists of 40+ acres of space including soundstages, production offices, administrative offices, warehouse, mill buildings, along with food & beverage operations.   In the day to day, you will need to be a seasoned and savvy leader able to operate at multiple levels and bring in both a client success expertise and a forward-thinking operations lead. WHAT YOU’LL DO

    • Be the key leader and business owner of the lot with oversight of Stage and Backlot management, production services (set lighting & grip, costume, transportation, etc.), client services, facilities management, physical security, and EHS/emergency services.
    • Responsible for the commercial success of the site including utilization, revenue management, incremental business opportunities (inclusive of all production services offered on-site), monthly financial results, annual budgeting, and long-range strategic planning, rooted in financial Optimization and operational KPI’s
    • Understand, develop, and execute complex production contracts
    • Represent NBCUniversal at the local level including liaison with the industry, governing bodies, and local constituencies, building, and enhancing the sites public profile
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry production requirements and competitor spaces to further drive utilization and best practices
    • Implement and develop long-term sustainability initiatives that are aligned with corporate and cross-site goals to minimize environmental impact of the site
    • Oversee alignment with leaders across internal site locations to ensure best practices of standard operating procedures, technology deployment, safety programs, facility management, and general company policy and requirement

What You Must Have… • 10+ years of studio management experience • Prior experience in high-end TV/Film industry, production services, and studio facilities • Proven success in the process and the services necessary for the successful creation and execution of a production Additional Job Requirements
