    Job Description

    Academic Year Internship Program:

    • Applications Close: June 9, 2023 at 11:59pm ET. Pro Tip: Submit your application as soon as possible – don't delay!
    • Program Dates: September 18, 2023 – April 19, 2024
    • Time Commitment: 16-24 hours per week. Exact schedule to be determined based on business need. We will do our best to accommodate course schedules.

    The below opportunities listed offer an extended internship experience which will span the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 semesters. Working over winter break will not be required.

    Creative, Corporate Communications

    Creative Intern, Corp. Communications: We are seeking a graphic design intern to join the Creative Group at NBCUniversal and help us create visually appealing and engaging content for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of work, experience with Adobe Creative Suite, and a passion for design. The internship will allow you to learn from experienced designers, work on real-world projects, and build your portfolio.

    Basic Requirements:

    • Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program.
    • Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal.
    • Must be willing to work in New York, NY.

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Students with class standing of junior or above preferred.
    • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
    • Strong interest in the media industry.
    • Commitment to building an inclusive work environment.
    • Previous internship experience and on-campus involvement.
    • Strong interest in and demonstrated knowledge of current affairs.
    • Technical Skills: Adobe Creative Suite, Cinema 4D, strong knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
    • Desired majors: Digital/New Media Studies, Communications, Graphic Design, Animation.

    The hourly rate for student interns is $17.00.
