    Job Description

    The Recruitment Analyst Intern prepares recruitment reports to assist in the analysis of candidate experiences and processes.  Working closely with the Manager and Director of Operational Staffing, the intern will work on multiple aspects of the hiring method, from Sourcing, Selection, Onboarding, and the journey of new TM of Universal Studios Hollywood.  Duties include assisting Manager with recording and analyzing data with the objective of finding opportunities of improvement in the candidate experience as well as attrition, retention, and any other complex portions of the recruitment cycle. 

    This role has exposure to multiple areas of Human Resources and theme park operations.

    • Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system (HRIS), employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, competitors practices, and other sources.
    • Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, and turnover.
    • Prepares reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership.
    • Identifies and recommends reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics.
    • Based on metrics and analysis, makes recommendations for policies and activities to improve the organizational culture including suggestions to attract and hire qualified candidates, to motivate and retain employees, to address staffing issues, and to maintain legal compliance.
    • May assist HR leadership with staffing, recruiting, and departmental budgets.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three-four days per week. Salary range: $18-$20/hour

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related interests
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proven ability to work with analytics to draw conclusions and solve problems. 
    • General understanding of local, state, and federal laws involving employment, HR, and HR policies.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s ATS software.
