    We are seeking an Area Sales Manager to join the GolfNow Sales team. This person will be knowledgeable in selling any and all products and services GolfNow has to offer. This position will work with existing area sales teams in a coordinated effort to maximize sales by targeting strategic sales initiatives, supporting the overall performance of GolfNow. This position will be expected to be an expert on the golf economy, which includes detailed knowledge of the golf courses, golf course technology products/solutions, market leaders, decision-makers, macroeconomic issues, and key competitors. This role will report to the Area Director.

    JOB DUTIES:

    • Working with the GolfNow team to prospect, consult, and close golf courses/resorts on compelling offers for GolfNow’s suite of products.
    • Manage all stages of the prospect pipeline on a routine basis with the current account owners.
    • Responsible for providing additional value to current GolfNow clients by offering them products and services to enhance their business.
    • Work with Golf Course partners to support and help develop plans to operate their daily business.
    • Drive adoption of our core products including Platform, Plus, Answers, Technology, SmartPlay, Premium Marketing and ClubBuy.
    • Execute strategic business initiatives to expand the range of offerings for our GolfNow customers.
  • Qualifications

    BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

    • 5+ years of Sales & Marketing experience, preferably within an eCommerce-driven organization
    • Tech-savvy with ability to communicate technical product features effectively and enthusiastically
    • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to travel extensively as needed
    • Strong team player and coach
    • Proficient PowerPoint and Excel skills required

    DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS:

    • Bachelors degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business or related field
    • Reliable with the ability to work in a professional office setting, remotely and independently without direct supervision in a demanding, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
    • Demonstrated experience adapting, learning new skill sets, and gaining an understanding of operational challenges
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Exceptional time management, with prompt client response times
    • Self-motivated and curious
    • Strong team player
    • E-Marketing experience preferred
    • Client Management experience preferred
    • Sales development and/or strategy experience is a plus
    • Online distribution experience is a plus
