Job Description

This Dailies Assist requires a high level of computer aptitude in a fast-paced film & TV production environment. You will have the ability to multitask while working under time constraints maintaining 100% accuracy. You will have in depth knowledge of Mac and Windows operating systems as well as familiarity with hard drive technologies including Thunderbolt & USB.

Essential Skills:

• Assist our Dailies Operator on assigned projects
• Ensure timeliness and technical accuracy of every client delivery
• Abide by strict security for client's intellectual property
• File Ingest, file management, transcoding
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Communicates with ease – You have a way with words; written and verbal
• Impeccable attention to detail – You bring customer requests to life by organizing the team’s daily work plans and scheduling commitments. The studio operations team will excel with your keen attention to work due dates and schedule commitments. You pay attention to all the details - especially visually!
• Deep knowledge base – Clear understanding of video standards, transcoding software, framerates, resolutions, and aspect ratios

What You Have:

• Willing to travel on assignment
• Experience with editing software
• Experience with Avid, Colorfront and Cortex
• Shift work schedule, where necessary, and be open to nights, weekends

What Would Make You Stand Out:

• Color correction experience

• Hybrid: This position is designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
