Summer 2024 Internship Program:

• Program Dates: June 3 – August 9, 2024
• Time Commitment: 40 hours per week. Exact schedule to be determined based on business need.
• Format: Opportunities listed will require an intern to work from Universal City, CA 3-5 days per week.

Areas of placement may include, but are not limited to:

• Operations & Technology, Sustainability Strategy: It's an exciting time to work with the NBCU Sustainability team! The team works on a myriad of sustainability implementation projects across the enterprise as part of our roadmap to carbon neutral by 2035. The team is also responsible for emissions reporting, employee engagement, sustainability long-range-planning, and more! As the intern, you’ll get to support the team with operational sustainability projects by researching initiatives & products, assisting with project needs & materials, and calculating emissions & costs. You’ll also get to support the Sustainability Data Solutions team, focusing on tracking and analyzing NBCU’s sustainability data to provide actionable insights to the business to reduce emissions intensive activities. https://www.nbcuniversal.com/environment.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

• Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program.
• Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal.
• Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA.

Desired Characteristics:

• Students with class standing of junior or above preferred.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Studying environmental studies/science or a proven interest in sustainability.
• Basic interest or knowledge of TV or Film Production.
• Experience with Excel & PowerPoint.

The hourly rate for undergraduate student interns is $20.00
